Every commercial policy we place.
Each page explains what the policy covers, what it excludes, who typically needs it, and what affects the price.

Pays when your business injures someone or damages their property. The baseline policy nearly every lease, contract, and client asks you to carry.

Liability, property, and lost income in one policy. The standard small-business package, and usually cheaper than buying the pieces.

Rebuilds the building, replaces the equipment, and restocks the shelves after fire, storm, or theft.

Industries we quote often
Where existing policies usually fall short.
When we review a policy in these industries, the same gaps come up again and again. Here is what to look for on yours.
Contractors
General liability covers damage your work causes to other people and their property. It does not cover your own tools and equipment. Those need their own coverage, and most contractors find that out after a theft.
Restaurants
Fire is always covered. Food spoilage after a power outage, equipment breakdown, and liquor liability are usually separate, and your lease may require one of them. We check each one against the lease.

Professional offices
General liability covers a client who is injured at your office. It does not cover a claim that your advice or work cost a client money. That is professional liability, and it is the policy most often left out.

Retail
Inventory and fixtures get insured. The income you would lose while the store is closed after a fire or a burst pipe often does not. Business income coverage is what carries a store through a rebuild.

Landlords
A lease can push risk onto your tenants, but only if their insurance exists and names you correctly. We review the certificates so your own policy is not the only one standing behind the lease.
Fleets & delivery
An employee delivering in their own car is usually excluded from a personal auto policy. Hired and non-owned auto coverage fills that gap, and most commercial policies leave it out until someone asks for it.
Not sure what you need?
You don't need to know the policy names.
Contracts, leases, and state law decide most of what a business has to carry. Tell us what you do, and we'll translate that into the policies you need.

“Not sure, tell me what applies.”
That option is on the coverage question in the quote form. Choose it and a licensed broker will work out the rest from what your business does.
